The owners, Paul & Judy, have lived here for over twenty years and aim to offer their cottage guests an excellent personal service, who, having enjoyed their stay, will, as many do, return for another stay. Lucy, the family dog, was born in July 2003 and loves to play in the fields with canine visitors. If guests are feeling energetic, there are a number of good walks from Five Gables over farmland, through woods, along old railway lines and the Weardale Way.
