COMITATO LINGUISTICO was established in 1986 and is located in the historical center of Perugia. Our school is the only member of ASILS in Umbria, the association of the most renowned Italian teaching institutes with strict quality criteria. We offer courses exclusively for Italian as a foreign language all year round. Our aim is to teach in a friendly environment with a professional approach and to ensure that you leave us able to communicate in Italian to the best of your ability in both social and professional situations. We achieve an excellent success rate through a happy balance of work and social life. It is very important for us to have personal contact with the students; our enthusiastic team of qualified, native Italian-speaking teachers and our administration staff are always available regarding information and advice needed.
The average age of our students ranges from 20-25, with the minimum age being 16. However also several elderly students attend our courses.
An average class size consists of 7 students and the maximum 12 students at a time.
To help you to enjoy your free time we organize several social activities like excursions, sightseeing-tours, film evenings, cookery lessons etc.
We wish to make you feel "at home" not only by friendly teaching but also by carefully choosing your accommodation.
Perugia is still very much a livable city - it's not too small and, at the same time, not too big but big enough to have a variety of events held during the year that attracts Italians from other regions as well as foreigners to it. In this city with its rich cultural history and the atmosphere and life of a small metropolis you have only the embarrassment of choosing amongst the numerous disco-pubs, restaurants, cinemas, art exhibitions and concerts
